Yalumber Burgundy Vintage 1962

In Australia, particularly in the mid-20th century, the term "Burgundy" was often used as a generic, commercial name for a dry red wine. It is most likely a Cabernet/Shiraz blend. 1962 was an excellent year for the wines of Australia and for Yalumber was also the first vintage of their flagship wine The Signature. This imperial pint bottle is a real piece of Australian wine history.
