Tignanello Antinori Vintage 2018

One of Antinori Estates flagship wines from a vineyard in the heart of Chianti Classico. Situated between the Greve and Pesa valleys. The first vintage was released in 1971. It sat outside the Italian classification system combining other grapes with the Sangiovese to create the blend. The 2018 vintage whilst a challenge was very good for Tuscany.

Typical Blend, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc. 75cl bottle Abv 13.5%

Bottle condition, capsule good, label excellent, wine level into neck

Expressive nose with ripe cherry and plum fruit layered with cedar and dried herbs. Still quite oaky.
