Taittinger Comtes De Champagne Blanc De Blanc Vintage 2007

The Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs is the finest example of the Taittinger House style and is always a vintage cuvée. It is made with 100% white grapes from the 5 villages with a Grands Crus classification for the Chardonnay grape (Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Oger, Mesnil-sur-Oger). the 2007 vintage was regarded as a good one for the region.

Typical blend, Charddonay. 75cl bottle. Abv 12%

From Imperial! So perhaps much less evolved than a bottle. Excellent champagne, great body and a very typical Comtes profile. Still young but then the bottle size is like a barrel!
In summary, great wine and a very typical Comtes.
