Ridge Vineyards is a famed Californian wine producer founded in 1962, and based in the Santa Cruz Mountains but with vineyards in several parts of the state.Monte Bello is their flagship wine that's site atop a great range including this Paso Robles ZinfandelIn 2021 vintage finally graced California with a reasonably benign vintage, after the horrors of the 2020 fire season, and the wines look set to be magnificent.

A little oaky on the open, along with expected flavors of plum, brambly purple fruit and spice. Warm and mouth filling across the palate. Ridge the only Zin producer we drink anymore.
