Started in 1680 by Thomas Dawson, the firm took the name Quarles Harris & Co. in 1792 after Quarles Harris married into the family. By the late 18th century, it grew into the second-largest port shipper. The firm was absorbed by Warre & Co. in the 19th century before being restarted in the 1920s by Andrew James Symington and Reginald Quarles Harris. 2003 is considered an outstanding vintage and was declared a vintage year by all the major Port houses.
Typical blend, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Cao. 75cl bottle. Abv 20%
