Nuits Saint Georges Maison Groffier-Leger Vintage 1973

The name "Groffier" is legendary in Burgundy, most famously associated with Domaine Robert Groffier, one of the top estates in the Côte de Nuits. In the 1970s, many famous families also operated merchant (négociant) arms. Groffier-Léger was one of these. 1973 vintage for Burgundy was considered average, although it was better here than in Bordeaux.

Typical blend Pinot Noir. 75cl bottle. Abv% not stated.

Bottle condition, capsule good, label and bottle bin soiled, wine level 3cm below base of cork.
