Nuits Saint Georges Jean Chauvenet Vintage 2013

Managed by the Droig family after Jean retired in 1994. They have set about using low intervention methods of wine making and reducing yields to maximise flavours. A difficult growing season but good wines were made.

Typical blend Pinot Noir.75cl bottle. Abv 13%

Bottle condition excellent

Dark ruby in colour on decanting. Thrown down a very minor sediment. Slightly liquorice edge to firm cherry fruit pastille on the nose. Sweet, and layered with creamy oak. Serious with a long finish.
