Nuits Saint Georges Gilbey Vinters Vintage 1972

WA Gilbey is probably best remembered for their gin, still in production today. After many merges the company no longer exits in its original form. The 1972 vintage was largely ignored by the English trade, due to its association with the poor Bordeaux vintage. It was however a reasonably good vintage for Bordeaux.

Typical blend, Pinot Noir. 73cl bottle. Abv not stated. 

Bottle condition, capsule good, label bin soiled, wine level 2cm below base of cork.
