Maison M. Chapoutier is one of the most recognizable – and sizeable – producers in the Rhone Valley It is known for its wines from both the north and south of the valley, but in particular for its red and white Hermitage wines. The 2013 vintage was described as hit or mis for Europe, but for the Rhone it was very good.

Typical blend, Syrah. 75cl bottle, Abv 13%

Bottle condition, capsule good, label good, wine level in neck

sadly the last of my bottles and undoubtedly the best - peppery fruit with the tannins fully resolved - excellent!
