The wines of Cahors are predominantly made from Cot the local name for Malbec. They were often blends with Merlot or Cabernet, but as the world began to drink more new world wines labeled as Malbec many producers moved towards 100% Malbec wines. The 2004 vintage was described as a vigneron's vintage, meaning that the growing season and weather weren't the best and the quality of the wine was in the skill of the winemaker.
Typical blend, Malbec. 75cl bottle Abv 13%
Bottle condition, capsule good, label bin soiled, wine level in neck
