Thomas Hardy & Sons was one of the pioneers of the South Australian wine industry, founded in 1853.St. Thomas Burgundy was a historic and well-regarded line of red wines from Hardy's, dating back to at least the 1940s. "Burgundy" was the generic term for a dry red wine.it was standard practice for Australian wineries to blend grapes from different regions to achieve a consistent style and quality that transcended annual vintage variations. This wine combines grapes grown in the McLaren Vale and Hunter Valley.
