Glenwood Shiraz Vintage 2004

GlenWood Vineyards is a boutique estate situated in the secluded Robertsvlei Valley, just outside the village of Franschhoek. The estate was established in 1984 by Alastair Wood, who recognised the valley's potential for producing high-quality wines. Rather than focusing on volume, GlenWood has always concentrated on small-batch, premium wines, with long-serving cellar master DP Burger playing a major role in shaping the estate's style. The 2004 vintage for South Africa was better than average.
