Geisweiler & Fils is one of several historic Burgundy negotiants. Formed in 1804 with offices and cellars located in Nuits Saint Georges, still used today although the company ceased in the 1990s. As well as the negociant business Geisweiler also owned many vineyards across the region. They did not always differentiate this on the label so one never knows whether the wine was from their own vines or bought in grapes.
Typical blend Pinot Noir, 75cl bottle. Abv % not stated.
Bottle condition, capsule good, label good, wine level 4cm below the base of the cork
