The Domaine de Chevalier located in Léognan, the Capital town of the Graves Region has a long history. It appears on the famous map of Pierre de Belleyme in 1783. In 1983 the estate was purchased by the Bernard Family.  It has been run ever since by Olivier Bernard who has a constant drive for perfection which have been the hallmark of this outstanding wine. The 2010 vintage was excellent for the region.
Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot,Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot. 75cl bottle. Abv 13%

With a couple hour decant, this is really coming into its own. Still young, but delicious, with highly concentrated and rather dark Pessac fruit and building aromatic complexity showing a hint of tertiary development.
