Clos Du Marquis Vintage 2001 Magnum

Produced by the esteemed Chateau Leoville Las Cases.They  produces three wines, all red Bordeaux blends. Credited with being one of the first Bordeaux producers to release a second wine in 1902, even though the  Clos du Marquis, is made from a separate vineyard and thus is not really a second wine.

Typical Blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc. 1.5l Magnum Bottle. Abv 13%

Bottle condition, capsule good, label has a small stain, wine level base of neck

Well balanced: cassis, black fruits (blackberry, plum), dark chocolate, oak. Excelent wine.
