Chateauneuf du Pape Clos L'Oratoire des Papes Vintage 2019

As with many Chateauneuf wines estates, steeped in history. Dating back to 1880 when Edouard Amouroux was bequeathed a parcel of vines within a Clos and named after the oratory situated just below the vineyard. The label design represents all the history and was registered along with the trademark in 1926. It has built a steady reputation for excellence and the 2019 vintage is considered outstanding by the estate.

Typical blend, Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault. 75cl bottle. Abv 15%

Bottle condition, capsule excellent, label excellent, wine level high fill

Two years since my last bottle. This was exceptionally improved. Really enjoyed.
