Historical records suggest that "Rose D'Ars" was a secondary label or a specific parcel associated with Château d’Arsac The name "Ars" refers to a 14th-century knight who lived on the lands where these vineyards are located. The bottle is an English bottling by Peatling Cawdron who were a fine wine merchants based in King's Lynn. The 1961 vintage is legendary for being one of the best vintages of the 20th Century.
