Whilst Chateau Palmer was awarded 3rd growth in the 1855 classification it is often 1st growth quality. The vintage is recognised as being better on the right bank, Pomerol & Saint Emilion, there were some good wines on the left bank, Medoc.
Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot. 75cl bottle. Abv not stated.
Bottle condition, capsule good, label good but starting to peel, wine level top shoulder.
