Chateau Mouton Rothschild Vintage 1976

A lighter style of wines were produced in 1976 after rain at harvest time broke the long hot summer. The label design is by Pierre Soulages using cobalt blue and incorporating the initials of the Chateau.

Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot. 75cl bottle. Abv% not stated.

Clearly past its time, but not all the way gone. 30 minutes after decant was totally beautiful - you can tell it’s former greatness. If you still have some, drink now.
