Bought by Baron Phillipe de Rothschild in 1933, eventually changing the name to Mouton Baron Phillipe in 1956. It had another name change before its current name Chateau d"Armailhac in 1989. The 1936 vintage had a difficult growing season and is now very rare.

Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc. 75cl bottle. Abv not stated.

Bottle condition, capsule warn and creased, label bin soiled and dirty. Wine level mid shoulder.
