Chateau Le Crock Vintage 1996

Château Le Crock is a classified Cru Bourgeois,  located in the Saint Estephe appellation of Bordeaux. The château was established in the early 19th Century and has been owned by the Cuvelier family since 1903. There wine making stretches from several Bordeaux properties to Argentina. The 1996 vintage was very good one for the region.

Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot. 75cl Bottle. Abv 13%

Bottle condition, capsule excellent, label excellent, wine level in neck

Much better than last bottle. Enough classic Bordeaux definition to make this enjoyable. Subtle tannin but still with some nicely intergrated fruit. Medium finish. 2nd night it had started to fade.
