Tasting Note 19/12/2024 -91 Points
Tasted after a 45 minute decant. Dark ruby in colour with a slight garnet hue. Initial aromas transition from earthy forest floor to leather/liquorice, cedar & cassis. On the palate, tart & juicy black fruit, cassis/blackberry, cedar, quite floral/violets, chocolate, medium acidity, high soft tannins with a long finish to leather & liquorice. Lovely tasting wine, & it’s definitely got that Bordeaux twang to it!
