Chateau Le Boscq Vintage 1996

Classified in 2020 as a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel, Château Le Boscq is a prestigious, elegant Saint-Estèphe wine, harmoniously allying the power of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot with the delicacy of Merlot. Refined and well-balanced, the wine shows great potential and will improve with ageing. The 1996 vintage was very good for the region.

Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot. 75cl Bottle. 13% Abv

Bottle condition capsule good, label good, wine level in neck

Dark cherry in color, very little bricking. Black cherries, black currant and tea on the nose. Tart cherries, fine leather on the palate. Tannins are low, but still a bit drying.
