Chateau L'Arrosee Vintage 2003

Château L'Arrosée is a former Saint Émilion Grand Cru Classe estate, purchased by Domaines Clarence Dillon (of Chateau Haut Brion fame) as part of the takeover of Château Tertre Daugay in 2011, and renamed Chateau Quintas – it is the fifth property in the Dillon portfolio. The L'Arrosée estate, located on the southern edge of Saint-Émilion, produced a traditional Right Bank Bordeaux blend labeled Château L'Arrosée until 2012. The 2003 vintage is remembered for its heatwave giving fears of overheated grapes producing baked wine. In reality the wines have turned out better than expected.

Typical Blend, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon. 75cl bottle. Abv 13%

Charming nose of desiccated coconut evolved from the French barrique, rich nose of sweet, ripe cherry fruits, dark ruby red in colour! Slightly sweet on the palate, medium body!
