Chateau Labegorce Zede Vintage 1986

Aquired by the Perrato family in 2005, owners of Chateau Labegorce, they amalgamated the two into one estate.. This has made previous vintages of Zede quite collectable. 1986 was a lovely vintage for the region.

Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot. 75cl bottle Abv 13%

Bottle condition, capsule good, label good, wine level top shoulder or better

This bottle was pretty good. A bit of the chemical/industrial (Brett), but much less. Tobacco, a bit of sweetness, some fruit. It is also still dark colored, no orange rimming, and not faded at all. I think it will last quite some years more.
