Chateau Haut Batailley Vintage 1979

Chateau Haut Batailley has always been in the shadow of Chateau Batailley. A traditional style of wine whilst Haut Baitailley tended to be lighter in style. However we have always enjoyed it and found it to be consistently good. The 1979 vintage was good, but a little overlooked. In recent tastings it has shown better than expected.

Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, merlot, Cabernet Franc. 75cl bottle. Abv not stated.

Bottle condition, capsule good, label good, wine level top shoulder.
