Château Grand-Pontet is located in Saint-Emilion situated on the region's famous limestone plateau. Since 1980, the Grand Cru Classé estate has been owned by the Becot family, owners of Chateau Beau-Sejour Becot. 1989 vintage is the middle child in a run of three great vintages.

Typical blend, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon. 75cl bottle Abv 12%

Bottle condition, capsule good, label good, wine level base of neck

Vegetal, balanced tannins. Drinking nicely.
