Chateau Gazin Vintage 1960

This well respected Pomerol estate produces a lovely Merlot dominated wine. Between 80 and 95% depending on the vintage. The property has been in the same ownership for five generations, since purchased in the early 20th century. The 1960 vintage was a good one, but being wedged between 1959 and 1961, two of the best vintages of the 20th century, it was largely ignored and receives little press these days. Now becoming rare.

Typical blend, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon. 75cl bottle. Abv% not stated.
