Chateau Coufran Vintage 1994

This Haut Medoc estate is located to the north neighbouring Saint Estephe, but in Pauillac. It differers from many other left back estates in that the wine is predominantly Merlot rather than Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard is maintained in such a way to keep the average age of the vines around 50 years. The 1994 vintage marked the end of a bad run. Whilst it was not a great vintage it was better than 1991-1993. 

Typical blend, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon. 75cl bottle. Abv not stated.

Bottle condition, capsule good, label bin soiled, wine level in neck.
