About the wine

An interesting history for this Canon Fronsac estate. It was purchased by the Moiux Family in 1985. renowned for producing Merlot dominated wines. In the 2013 the estate was declassified and the vineyards incorporated into Chateau La Dauphine. The 2005 vintage was excellent across all the Bordeaux communes

Bottle condition, Capsule good, label good, wine level in neck

Merlot based right bank Bordeaux drinking very well now with everything integrated and smooth. Some complexity and what a bargain.
