Chateau Calon Segur Vintage 2014

Château Calon-Ségur is a well-regarded wine estate located in the commune of Saint Estephe on the left bank of the Gironde estuary in northern Bordeaux. The château was rated as a third growth in the 1855 Classification of the Médoc and Graves and is unique in the Médoc as the vineyards are in one single plot surrounded by tall stone walls.Its an estate we've always had a soft spot for. The 2014 vintage was certainly very good for the region although its overshadowed by 2015 and 2016.

Excellent and in its early drinking (no rush). Dense cassis fruit with cedar, this will turn out to be even nicer with 3-5 more years.
