Chateau Astruc Sainte Eulalie Minervois Vintage 1996

Chateau Astruc based in the Minervois appellation of the Languedoc-Roussillon produces several cubes using the classic Southern Rhone grapes.Red wines from Minervois must be a blend of at least two varieties with at least one of the predominant varieties in the mix. Furthermore, any combination of Carignan, Cinsaut, Grenache, Mourvèdre and/or Syrah must total at least 50 percent of the blend although no one variety of the five can have a presence greater than 80 percent in the final wine. 1996 was a good vintage for the region.
