About the wine

Domaine Roulot, founded by Guillaume Roulot in 1830, is well respected Mersault based domaine producing mainly Chardonnay wines from a range of premier cru and village-level sites across the appellation The wines are held in high esteem by critics and are much sought-after. The domaine is currently run by actor-turned-winemaker Jean-Marc Roulot. The domaine gained some noeriety when its Mersault was included in the Judgement of Paris tasting. As a result its wines commend a highrer price that other domaines/producers. 2018 was a very good vintage for the region.

A lovely balance between ripe white fruits and freshness. Great mouthfeel, with a focused, fruit forward palate. There is some citrus peel and chalk in the finish that adds nice complexity.
A lot more than just a regional Burgundy.
