Chateau Poujeaux Vintage 2010

Château Poujeaux is a well-regarded former Cru Bourgeois wine estate located in the Moulis en Medoc sub-appellation of the Haut-Médoc wine region, just north of Bordeaux city, on the so-called "left bank" of the Gironde estuary.In 2010, a heavily revised Cru Bourgeois label was re-introduced that did not establish a tiered system and, as a result, Château Poujeaux and five other houses that had been named Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel formed their own group called Les Exceptionnels outside of the new classification. The 2010 vintage was excellent for the region.

Typical blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc. 75cl bottle. Abv 13.5%

Bottle condition, capsule excellent, label good, wine level high fill

Excellent, rafinated with delicate well integrated tanins.
Black fruits, plum dominant.
